Our Workshops are extremely rewarding,
boosting confidence and self esteem, as well as stimulating imaginations and encouraging creative writing.
The
courses are aimed at Key stages 1 -3. Our youngest 'Mini Muffin' author is just four years old.
Our workshops
are open to children of all abilities. It doesn't matter if your child has difficulty in writing, or cannot
write at all. We will help them to create a story, using their own ideas, words and illustrations and turn these ideas
into a published picture book.
After school clubs:
Course duration: 5 weeks (one session per week) Course

What is an
ISBN?
The International Standard Book Number
(ISBN)
is a 10-digit number that uniquely identifies
books
and book-like products published internationally.
We help
each child to create their very own book,
with a set of characters and events of their choice.
At the end of the
course, each book will be
professionally printed and published. Books
may be advertised on various websites but will be produced as single copies only unless an additional copy is purchased for
the British Library, meaning that the book will then be available to purchase Worldwide.The price includes 1 copy of
their book. Each child will be given their own materials
to work with which will be theirs for the
duration of the course
and theirs to take home at the end of
the 5 weeks.

Sketching
pencil and eraser
1 set of colouring pens
Artists paper
Course
overview:
· Learn the steps required
to write and illustrate a picture storybook.

Discuss ideas· Write and illustrate
the story.
· Create a ‘dummy’
book.
· Learn the process of having
a manuscript published.
· Watch
their work grow from writing and drawings into a professionally printed and bound published book. The course culminates with a magical Book Signing event. Mini Muffin authors can invite friends
and family to share in their experience, see them receive their wonderful books and certificates and sign their work.
The course is not supposed to be a formal lesson in creative writing
but is fun and extremely rewarding for the children.
